@Horace said in Acting Secret Service Director: All government career climbers are politicians, and vice versa. This was an amusing interaction with the acting chief of the SS. Link to video I knew a policeman who said 'Never trust a man who dyes his hair.'

Interesting about something I know nothing about. LOL. I watched 1/2 of it, but need to go back and re-watch at least one more time.

If you’ve been around working dogs of many types it’s quite impressive just how much they know by breeding. My Gordon just barely failed his junior hunter with no training at all, and only because he flushed a hair too early. But he found the quail and pointed perfectly.

He is a deeply flawed human being. Actually a basic mediocrity, as he's shown in his post-presidential life.

I agree with you 100%. For someone like Musk or Soros (but I dont know much about him), it is the access to power, being seen as a "plyer", as well as moving policy in a way that will help them or their businesses.

I don't really care, but I note that that's something for which no evidence or proof could exist after the fact. It's just a claim the cop can make, without fear of it ever being disproven later on.

@George-K said in Climate Change - is there anything it can't do?: https://x.com/NickFondacaro/status/1864778859129844149 I've been told there are no stupid questions. There's no evidence of that, either.

https://nypost.com/2024/12/05/real-estate/bill-cosby-facing-foreclosure-on-nyc-townhouse/ Bill Cosby, the once-beloved TV icon whose image crumbled during a highly publicized sexual assault scandal in recent years, is now facing foreclosure on his Manhattan townhouse. Court documents show the 87-year-old allegedly owes millions on the Lenox Hill property, which he and his wife, Camille, purchased back in 1980. CitiMortgage filed a lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court this week, claiming the former sitcom star defaulted on a $4.2 million loan tied to the four-story residence at 243 E. 61st St., according to Crain’s. The financial giant alleges the Cosbys still owe $3.7 million in principal, with the rest racking up in interest and fees. The brownstone, located between Second and Third avenues, spans 5,000 square feet. [image: bill-cosby-nyc-townhome-foreclosure-94750875.jpg?resize=1024,682&quality=75&strip=all]
